I’m Mahbub, also known as Moby.

I am a results-driven IT professional with over 20 years of experience building high-performing platforms for both start-ups and major corporations. Having worked in nearly every software development role, I have a deep understanding of what it takes to make a project successful from every angle.

I have built and led teams from scratch for companies without in-house development, helping them thrive. I have also spearheaded fast-paced product launches for start-ups, one of which led to a £3.8M acquisition within just two years. My expertise extends to delivering large-scale solutions for global brands like BP, Lendlease, Entain, Hyundai, Carlsberg, Save the Children, Sainsbury’s, ECP, Amazon, Apple, and Barclays.

I thrive on challenges and believe in working smarter—not just harder—by finding innovative solutions that drive efficiency and results. With strong leadership in managing onshore and offshore teams, I ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Strategy

Work with C-suit to develop and lead the short- and long-term strategic plan of the IT Team, as well as product development and infrastructure roadmap. Promote idea generation for new products or for the next version of an existing product.

Implement

Implement the plan to meet the needs of the company’s IT goals. Maintain a solid understanding of the key stakeholders and the sales team regarding their challenges and expectations related to software applications.

Lead

Lead IT team, including project managers, product owners and developers globally to develop any IT platforms.

Development

Get involved in the coding when I get a chance or when the team requires an extra pair of hands. Particularly, I love fine-tuning the applications.
